The French Creek Ranch, a six-bedroom private house on 20 acres, accommodates up to 24 guests and includes a full kitchen, game lounge, and basketball court. All cabins have mini-fridges, and select rooms feature sofa sleepers.

The hotel sits on the hillside above Custer, making it easy to access restaurants in the area and explore the Black Hills. The rooms feel just like a larger hotel room with a functional microwave and refrigerator. We appreciated the friendly service, especially the attentive housekeeping. The breakfast had a decent spread, but the limited seating was a drawback. The location is ideal for visiting Custer State Park and Mount Rushmore.
